To say I’m ridiculously excited to be working with these two may be the understatement of the year! When Rachel first inquired about me photographing their wedding next July and told me she was engaged to Laura’s brother (you remember, this beautiful wedding & amazing family?!) I did a happy dance in my office. I absolutely LOVE the Morris family and am certain I’m going to be just as crazy about Rachel’s family when I meet them! Our meet-up at Haymarket felt more like hanging out with old friends than anything, and it was fabulous!
Rachel and Pat were initially nervous about doing an engagement session, but I insisted it was great practice to get used to being in front of my camera before the wedding day – and so they agreed. 🙂 We met up at the spot where Pat proposed to Rachel – Montrose Harbor! It was an unseasonably warm November day and I had so much fun wandering around photographing these two! And I’m happy to say after the fact that they felt it was great to have done to figure out what kind of images of themselves they like the best, and that it wasn’t nearly as painful as they expected… 😉 haha.
