I hoped to have some photos for you first thing this morning, but after editing for what feels like days on end without stopping, I needed to stop myself last night at 10:30pm. (Let’s just say that I’ve stayed up working until 3 or 4am a few too many times in the last month. And I suddenly realized that I’m most certainly going to burn myself out if I continue at the pace I’ve been going.)
So, I called it a night at a (somewhat) reasonable hour last night, and enjoyed dinner, and some of this with James…
I’d definitely say that one of the perks of my job is all the amazing people I get to meet along the way, that inevitably go from clients to friends… which I absolutely LOVE.
Yesterday I met a potential client at her brother-in-law’s brewery in Chicago, Haymarket Pub & Brewery, to chat about her upcoming wedding. I immediately clicked with this super sweet bride (and with her sister, and aunt – who were there as well), and I’m SO happy that I now get to be a part of her wedding day this December!
And none of that has anything to do with the fact that they sent me home with a growler of delicious beer after our meet-up. I swear, I loved them way before they gifted me that. But I’m not saying it isn’t another perk of my job! 😉
**If you live in Chicago, or come to visit, you must check out Haymarket! (I know James and I will be making some stops now that it’s on our radar!) The beer is gooooooood… really good. 🙂
