I was going to write a really long post about all the reasons I love James, and how I’m so excited to be celebrating 3 years of marriage today. (Wow how time has flown!!) But I figured, more than anything – more than any words I could write… he would appreciate if I actually took one full day off from working to celebrate us. To just be. Maybe we’ll ride our bikes up the trail we just discovered near our place, and have a picnic. Maybe we’ll go shopping in search for some new clothes for wedding season. Maybe we’ll go see a matinee. Or maybe we’ll continue our annual tradition of an anniversary self-timer photo shoot. Who knows….
The one thing I do know is that no matter what we’re up to today – we’re doing it together… Enjoying some time away from the constant bustle of running our own business (where it seems there are no days off – especially not during busy season).
So if you write me an email, or a text, or give me a call… I may not reply. Because I’m unplugging and spending the day with my bay. 🙂 Because if there’s one thing I’ve learned in 3 years of marriage – it is that actions speak louder than words.
