Diane and Matt just might be two of the most crazy-about-each other people we’ve ever met (and we’ve met a lot of crazy-in-love couples)!!! These two are so positive and happy together, and clearly just LOVE being around each other. They had one wild day of weather on their wedding – from sudden downpour, to bright (HOT) sun, to crazy humidity, to a perfectly beautiful night, followed by more downpour! It was one of those crazy Chicago days you really can’t anticipate or plan for because you don’t know what it’ll be like 10 minutes later! Thankfully Diane and Matt were just so happy that it was their wedding day that they weren’t worried about the weather in the least! They laughed together as we dodged the rain during their portraits, and cuddled up to each other in the scorching heat. I told them, they are seriously one of the only couples I’ve met who still liked touching each other when it was that hot and humid! That’s saying something!! 🙂

Their day was a quintessential Chicago wedding if I’ve ever seen one! From preparation photos at their amazing suite in the Trump Tower, to a ceremony at St. James Chapel, to portraits all over downtown (the river walk, Michigan Avenue, the Chicago Theatre, La Salle Street, and Millennium Park – to name a few)… to an unbelievably gorgeous reception at the Chicago Cultural Center in the stunning Preston Bradley Hall… it was simply beautiful – with Diane & Matt’s love at the center of it all!
