I first met Colleen back in August and immediately just felt so at ease with her! I knew already from our emails that she and Justin were such a good fit for us, but meeting her in person just cemented that feeling even more!! Based on the amazing (& hilarious) stories I’d heard about Justin (including a high school first date story involving a “night of luxury” at Taco Bell – haha!) I was so excited to finally get to meet him too when they were both back in town for their engagement session!! These two are so wonderfully down to earth and so much fun to be around – the time just flew while I was documenting them! We had the most ridiculously beautiful February day in Chicago for their session and the perfect golden hour light to compliment the warm temps!!
