I first met Rebecca and Jeff almost 3 years ago when they booked a mini session with me – which is hard to believe!! At the time they had recently gotten married and had a courthouse elopement without any professional photos – so they wanted to finally get some done! Fast forward a couple of years, and these two high school sweethearts – who were married three years ago on April Fool’s Day – decided they’d like to throw a party on their anniversary to finally celebrate the big day with family and friends!! Better late than never, I say!! 🙂
Rebecca and Jeff are a fabulously low-key couple (if you can’t tell based on their no-frills courthouse wedding!) and are incredibly sweet with each other and everyone around them. We are so lucky to have crossed paths with them, and James & I were so honored to take a mini-leave from our maternity/paternity leave to document their vow renewal out in Plainfield at the fabulous venue, Warehouse 109!
Rebecca & Jeff ~ Thank you so much for having us be a part of your day!!! You were SO kind and understanding through the entire process – given all the crazy baby circumstances… and even stocked us up on wipes for the boys?! I mean – seriously!!! (Update: we only have like 3 packs left! Apparently babies are filthy little animals?! haha) You two are a beautiful couple and we know you have a wonderful life ahead of you!!
