I am always so, so honored when clients decide to move forward with working with us even though we haven’t had a chance to meet in person. That was the case with Sarah and Rob, who booked us after hearing about us from the (awesome) mom of one of our former brides, and lots of emails back and forth!! These two currently live in Atlanta, and are getting married in Baltimore next spring – so it was so awesome that they wanted to move forward with us, even though we are based out of Chicago!
Everything Sarah said about the two of them in her initial email had me so excited about working with these two! Most importantly, this: “There are so many times when I will come home from having a bad day at work and will be feeling so overwhelmed and he will just make me burst out laughing, lying on the floor with stomach pains and tears in my eyes. And that is exactly why I know I am supposed to be with him. He makes me appreciate life more than anyone else.”
YES! Love, love, love! I love James for the very same reason and I loved that she appreciates that about Rob!
Anyway, this is all to say that I was SO excited they decided to work with us, and even more excited to finally meet these two when they flew up to Chicago for a little getaway weekend and their engagement session! It was both of their first times here, and I’m proud to say they loved our Windy City! 🙂 James and I met up with them on the steps of The Art Institute of Chicago, and wandered around the area for their session… finishing it all up in Millennium Park – on an absolutely gorgeous evening! Here are some of my favorites!
