The cold snap is coming back to Chicago and much of the country today – so in preparation James and I took advantage of a heat wave yesterday (30 degrees! WHAT?!) and got out of the house for the first time in a while! 🙂 I had a to-do list a mile long waiting for me – but I figured while we could get out of the house we probably should (and it was the weekend, after all!) – and so an impromptu date-day it was!

An afternoon out and about shopping together for the first time in a loooooong time (not pictured)… followed by a cozy night in with our new favorite beer, The Bachelor wedding (and other choice shows… The Pro Bowl, “Girls” & “Looking”), and another winter storm brewing outside – reminding us we are A-OK staying in with our loves… 🙂
