Oh where oh where do I start with these two?!? Jennie and Jim had the most beautiful fall day for their wedding at St. Anne’s in Barrington, followed by a stunning reception at Eaglewood Resort and Spa! I couldn’t get over the perfect weather (especially after the foggy first engagement session they had!), and the palpable joy from every single guest in attendance was the perfect compliment to the sunshine!
Jennie and Jim are the epitome of opposites attract. Jennie is bubbly, open, and chatty in the best kind of way (my kind of girl!), and Jim is the calm to her flurry… He is measured, cool, and calm. Jennie lights up a room when she walks in and it is clear she does the same for Jim – always bringing a smile to his face! They are the perfect compliments to each other and I have no doubt that will serve them well as they navigate married life together!
And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how amazing their families are!! They both have large tight-knit families who welcomed us with open arms! I felt like I left at the end of the night with 40 new relatives (who happen to know how to party)! 😉 It. Was. Amazing.
Jennie & Jim ~ I really cannot fully express how THANKFUL I am for you both. Getting in an accident on the way to a wedding was my worst nightmare come true – but somehow you made it much less worse than it could have been. You were SO understanding, Jennie, and your parents were SO wonderful… I just cannot even begin to thank you enough!!! I honestly felt like your parents were my parents that day – they were so kind to continually make sure I was okay – and even wrote to check in the day after the wedding! Just – unbelievable. Aside from all that – you two are just the best! Thank you for being you! I’m so happy the sun showed up on your day and you got the golden sunset images you love so much!! This may be the cutest flower girl/ring bearer situation I’ve ever seen… so I couldn’t help but share! haha. The little dude went to the wrong side of church after they entered, much to the dismay of his sister. Eventually the priest set him straight though… lol. So. Cute!
