Oh Mallory and Pat… how I love you guys!!
Mallory found me through A Practical Wedding and I knew it was meant to be right from the start! We hit it off in our initial phone conversation and chatted all about their big day over email and phone conversations for the past year. I finally got to meet these two back in December when they were up for the holidays and we squeezed in an engagement session (one of my absolute favorites to date), and I didn’t know it was possible – but I became an even bigger fan of theirs after that day!
These two are so fabulous together (in case you can’t tell from the photos). They are so obviously crazy about each other and keep each other laughing constantly. They’ve been through many years, distances, and miles – and made it to this day… the day they pledged themselves to each other forever. It was an absolutely gorgeous June day – and James and I were so honored to be a part of it all! I got so choked up during their personal ceremony, and was excited to see they did things their way throughout the day…. holding it at a brew pup, having different styles/colors of bridesmaid dresses, and having a “bridal brigade”(as Mallory called it) instead of bridesmaids – which meant she included her brother and a guy friend standing up on her side – yeah! It was just such a unique and beautiful day and I loved every minute of it.
Mallory and Pat – thank you guys so much for including James and I in your wedding day! We had so much fun hanging out with you and your family/friends – and know you two are going to have a truly amazing life filled with lots of laughter! xoxo!
We had a shorter day of coverage so we rolled right into the First Look and bride & groom portraits. I could photograph these two ALL DAY! Gorgeous.
I love love loved the bridal party’s mix of dresses, ties, and vests!
People who think the First Look will change the moment she comes down the aisle are just wrong — look at the emotion on Pat’s face! He had me choked up!

Then we snuck out during dinner for a few more photos as the sun was setting!
