Where do I start with one of the most beautiful families I’ve ever laid eyes on?! I first found Erica’s photography blog almost 2 years ago and I was hooked. She seemed so down-to-earth, sweet, and of course incredibly talented. I was new to the Chicago wedding photography scene at the time and so (like the online stalker I am) I wrote her a totally random facebook message professing my love for her and her photography, and being the sweetheart she is – she didn’t find it creepy at all (at least that’s what she said) and we quickly became friends! (It was crazy all the things we found in common when we finally met up and got to chatting! Our husbands have the same name, we have nearly the same meeting/getting engaged/married stories & timelines, and practically the exact same rings…) Anyway – Erica is seriously one of the nicest people I’ve ever met, and it has been so nice having her to bounce ideas off of and chat about our businesses and lives!
I hadn’t met her husband, Jamie, or their new little addition, Levi, until our session – so I was completely excited to get to spend some time with them! We met up at Foster Beach a few weeks back and I documented their new little family in all their adorableness. Seriously – are they not ridiculously gorgeous?! I can’t even handle it.
Of course we had to do a few of Erica & Jamie on their own together! These two are so crazy about each other, it melts my heart! <3
And while we were at it – we shot a few new portraits of Erica for her website. 🙂 How beautiful is this woman?! I want her freckles!
Clearly I had trouble picking favorites… haha! Love them!!
