I first met Hanni and Andrew just a few short weeks ago as they were wrapping up planning for their August 2012 wedding. I have to admit, when I first received an inquiry from them – I thought that they perhaps entered the wrong year in my contact form by accident and meant to type 2013. But no, in our meeting I found out they were definitely getting married in less than 2 months! 🙂
It has been a whirlwind since they booked me that day – figuring out the timeline, details, coverage, and shooting their engagement session – all in a matter of a couple weeks. But it has been awesome for getting to know them because we’ve had a lot of time together from the start, and now I get to see them just 1 month from today for their wedding! 🙂
I met up with Hanni and Andrew for their engagement session at a park Andrew grew up down the street from – Indian Boundary Park in Chicago. I’d never been, so I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and saw how beautiful it was! We had the perfect combination for an engagement session – an adorable, super sweet together couple, a warm summer evening, and beautiful golden light.
How cute are they together?! They have this ease about them, and the way he fixes her hair when it blows across her face is quite possibly the cutest thing ever. I can’t wait for their wedding – 1 month from today! 🙂
