Nothing helps put a smile back on your face after a rough week like spending time with beautiful little kids that love you! I was up in Wisconsin this Saturday to shoot a wedding, so I snuck in a few hours of family time that morning. 🙂
I hadn’t seen my nephews and niece since Sunshine’s arrival home because their family needed some alone time to get everything in order and make sure that little Sunshine bonded and attached to her new family. So this past Saturday was my first time with the little ones in 2 months. (My how time flew… yikes!) Littlest nephew was a little more shy than normal when I got there because of that, but he warmed up quickly. And as you’ll see, he insisted on holding his new ‘laser’ gun in front of his face every time I went to take a photo of him because he thought it was just the funniest thing ever! ha ha
Oldest nephew learned how to ride a bike and proudly showed me over and over. (I can’t believe how grown up he is getting! Ahh!) And then of course there is little Sunshine, who I haven’t gotten any one-on-one time with ever… so it was amazing to get to play with her and see her little personality shine. She was very watchful of me initially, but after playing cars and catch – she started to become more at ease with me. I was so happy to see that she was high-fiving me and grinning from ear to ear by the time I left. I loved it! 🙂
