I’ve truly been looking forward to this wedding since I first got together with Sara and Jake to chat more about their day over a year ago! I first met Sara many years ago at her sister, Gina’s, wedding – which was one of the first weddings I ever shot way back in our second year of business in 2009!! I can’t believe so many years have passed already and that Sara was now the one walking down the aisle!! She and Jake have something really so ridiculously beautiful, I can’t even fully explain it in words (so thankfully we took a whole lot of photos that do a much better job of expressing their love than I ever could in words)!! Jake’s reaction to seeing Sara come down the aisle was one of the sweetest we have ever seen and oh my gosh – I may or may not have been sobbing behind my camera as I captured those moments!! Ah! My heart!
Their wedding day was a foggy, cold and wet day in Chicago – but these two and their bridal party hardly batted an eye! They were such troopers for their photos all over the city – including Olive Park, the Chicago River Walk, and the Board of Trade! James and I couldn’t get over what a FUN day we had with all of these guys and can’t wait to share these photos with you all!!!
Sara + Jake ~ Truly thank you from the bottom of our hearts for having us along to document your day! You guys are the sweetest and make each other even better together!! It’s obvious you two are going to have a really beautiful and love-filled life together and we were honored to have captured the start of that story for you two!! We hope you love love love these photos and that they were worth all the bone chilling time out in the cold to get them! haha 🙂 We love you two and wish you all the very best!!!
