I sat down to start this post and honestly don’t know where to start! Somewhere between the inquiry, the engagement session, the wedding, and almost 100 emails & texts between us about all things wedding and some that had nothing to do with it – Lisa went from being one of our clients to being a dear friend. I had a feeling from her initial inquiry with us that this might be the case (and I may have based that feeling solely on the fact that she and Scott are such big dog lovers that their dog, Norman, was the ring bearer in their wedding AND they chose a venue based on whether their dog was allowed to be a part of their wedding!!) I am so happy my gut feeling was right and even more honored to call these two friends.
Lisa and Scott are truly something special – both incredibly strong and successful in their own right, and then when they are together they are the biggest softies and goofballs! The way Scott looks at Lisa and is constantly loving on her – kissing her head and shoulders… holding her hand and making her smile – is the. sweetest. thing. These two compliment each other SO well, always striving to be the better and living each day together as if it were their last – they are truly a couple to look up to and I know James and I do just that. It was such an honor to be a part of their day and you all need to just get to the pictures already because these two are as gorgeous as they are awesome (and somehow seem totally unaware that they’re gorgeous?! How is that possible?!)
Lisa & Scott ~ Thank you so much for having us along on this journey with you two!! I never in my life thought I’d see my beer & tequila loyal husband drinking whiskey – but apparently Scott has a way with persuasion! haha! You guys have been nothing but a joy to work with and we are so humbled to call you friends. Now get yourselves back up here so we can get out and enjoy the city together sometime!!
