Zach reached out to us back in late October as he was finalizing plans for his surprise proposal to his long time girlfriend, Ana. He is living in North Carolina so we helped him get everything ironed out and suggested some locations in the city that would be relatively easy to get Ana to so she wouldn’t be suspicious!! Zach decided on the beautiful river walk location with a view of the city lights in the background, and made it easy to get her there by booking a room right across the street at the Wyndham!
After months of planning the day was finally here and it was set to be mighty cold and we were happily surprised with some beautiful snow flurries too!! James and I were bundled up and hiding out at the river walk as we waited for the lovebirds to wander over and for the big moment to happen!!! The nice thing about cold snowy days for proposals other than they are seriously the most romantic (in my opinion) is that there aren’t a whole lot of people out to get in the way of the moment and it makes it easy to spot our couple that way too! 😉 Anyway – all the planning was worth it because Ana was completely surprised (THE BEST!!) and of course said YES with tears in her eyes as Zach got down on one knee!!!
These two were so sweet to work with and may I just say – that ring is to die for! I loved the unique cut and beautiful simplicity of it! Stunning!
Anyway – enough chatter from me – here is Zach and Ana’s super romantic snowy Chicago proposal!!!
