I’m not sure where to even start with these two because we just truly love them so much!! I had a feeling from the moment I got the first inquiry email from Becca and Al (back when our boys were just 2 months old!) that these two were the perfect fit for us!!! Their laid back manner and hopes for a beautiful outdoor wedding in Michigan, balanced with their love for the city, dancing like maniacs, practicing yoga/running, and volunteering at Lurie Children’s Hospital… I mean. Seriously. These two are amazing and as it became obvious pretty quickly – the perfect fit for us!! I’m so incredibly humbled by these two and being a part of their wedding was such an absolute JOY. James and I felt like we were hanging out with lifelong friends and felt SO lucky to get to be a part of this gorgeous and heartfelt day!!!
The fun they always manage to have together and the way they truly live each day to the fullest is such an inspiration to us!! On top of that they both really do have the most amazing support group around them of family and friends! We truly left their wedding day feeling like we were part of their families and that is not something we take for granted or take lightly!! It means the world to us!! I want to tell you all about this perfect day – from the breeze that blew Becca’s veil onto Al’s head at the start of the ceremony, to the quiet moments Becca shared with Al’s mom during preparations… from the handkerchiefs Becca collected as gifts for her bridesmaids and to offer to guests at the ceremony to the Greek food truck that pulled up partway into the dance party to fuel guests’ late night shenanigans! 😉 (Oh and the donuts – don’t get me started on the donuts! Let’s just say James may have had a few sprinkles in his beard that gave him away after trying to conceal his donut indulgence in the corner!! hahaha)
Becca & Al ~ You two are simply the best and we are so happy you stumbled upon us and joined us to be a part of your wedding day and the months leading up to it!! You are so thoughtful and kind – with the biggest hearts for each other and the world – don’t ever change!! You are an inspiration to us and we are so happy you’re moving even closer to us so we can hang out!!!
