James and I had the joy of photographing the most amazing birthday party for the sweetest little girl a couple of weeks ago! I was in detail heaven when we walked in the doors of Brique Chicago… not one single thing was overlooked!! Marina’s mom, Angie, and the amazing team of planners at Effortless Events had thought of everything for this Western Chic themed birthday party… from a photo booth decked out in hay bales and rope, to horse shaped cake pops, unicorn cookie favors, and cowboy boots filled with flowers… to horses made of moss and flowers for table decor and the cutest cake with a mini Marina and horse on top!! There was face painting, a caricature artist, magic, and a DJ who kept everyone having the best time with games and music! Basically, I wish this was my birthday party – yes, even as an adult! 🙂 Everyone in attendance was truly so kind, humble and welcoming to us – we felt like part of their families by the end of the day, and I really can’t emphasize how much that means to us!
