Lisa and I have sent more emails back and forth than I can even keep track of since they first inquired with us in early December! She quickly felt like someone I’ve been friends with for a long time, and so I was so excited to finally get to meet these two (and their adorable pup, Norman!!) in person this past week!
These two are SO sweet together and somehow appear to be totally unaware that they’re gorgeous?! I don’t understand how that is possible, but it’s true. They also claim to be “awkward” and, well, you can see what a lie that is when you look at their images below! 😉 On top of that they are both on active duty in the army, dealing with long times spent apart while they are serving our country, and are clearly selfless individuals – devoting their lives to protecting our country – to which we are so eternally grateful.
Here are some of my favorite moments from their session at the beautiful Fabyan Forest Preserve on an unseasonably warm(ish) February day! 🙂
