James and I love this time of year – because proposals are one of our favorite things to get to be a part of and this season is always packed with them!! Justin reached out to us about planning the perfect proposal for his girlfriend, Allie, but he didn’t need much help from us!! He already was planning on surprising her by telling her they were headed to brunch (in St. Louis, where they live) – but instead flying to Chicago (!!!) for brunch here, followed by massages at the Trump! Not too shabby!! In between brunch and massages is when the big moment was to happen – and he picked the perfect backdrop for the big moment – the Chicago River Walk!
We had a crazy warm day for December and we had the best time documenting this beautiful moment!! Allie didn’t even remember just moments later if Justin got down on one knee when he popped the question – so I’m glad we have this documented for them to remember it all always! (I’m telling you – your mind really does go blank sometimes in the middle of it all! haha) Because he most definitely did get down on one knee – and Allie had one of the best reactions ever!
