I had been looking forward to Kendall and Jason’s wedding ever since her first inquiry when she told me all about how she and Jason were high school sweethearts who had been together for 9 years and were hoping to have a romantic and fun wedding day!! And then I was REALLY looking forward to it when I finally met them in person for their engagement session last summer!! I mean – the chemistry between these two is so obvious and makes them sooo much fun to photograph because they just click!! It is really a beautiful thing to witness.
Their wedding day was years in the making, given how long these two have been together, and I loved that they each got ready at their childhood homes (a half mile apart from each other)! You could just feel the excitement of their families and friends and it made for such an amazing day to document. Rain was in the forecast, but amazingly disappeared within a day or two of the wedding and we had really the most perfect summer day to celebrate Kendall and Jason!! And I couldn’t get to the pictures without at least mentioning how amazing Sara and the team from Five Grain Events were in planning this gorgeous day and keeping it all running so smoothly!! It’s always so wonderful to work with any of the ladies at Five Grain and this was no different! 🙂
Kendall & Jason ~ Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU for having us document this amazing moment in your love story!! It was so beautiful to be a part of and such an honor – especially given how long I can imagine you have been dreaming of this day over your time together!! You two are such wonderful people and we had the best time hanging out with you two and your loved ones all day!! The way you continue to cherish each other as if each day is the first day of your courtship is really such an inspiring thing to see.
