We had the absolute most beautiful day for Sonia and Sebastian’s gorgeous wedding at St. Ignatius College Prep!! Sonia was worried because of the rain threatening the forecast leading up to their big day – but we lucked out and had sunshine and 70’s all day!!! These two had family and friends come into Chicago from all over the world to celebrate with them and it was so amazing to be a part of it all!! The entire day was filled with so much JOY – you just couldn’t help but smile from ear to ear!! The love Sonia and Sebastian have for each other, and for their parents & families – is really so inspiring to see. I was brought to tears as they thanked their parents for all they have done for them in their toasts at the reception and it was obvious that these two are the amazing people they are because of those wonderful influences in their lives!
On top of all the love was all the PRETTY!! I’m sorry – but I couldn’t help but at least mention how gorgeous this wedding was!!! I just adored Sonia’s unique, layered lace gown, and the beautiful bridesmaid dresses – accompanied with the most stunning florals by Flor del Monte!! This was our first time shooting at Holy Family Church and Tully Hall at St. Ignatius College Prep – and now I’ve decided we absolutely must shoot here again! Sonia & Sebastian ~ It has been so wonderful getting to know you two through this entire process!!! We’ve loved getting to spend time with you and are so happy to call you our friends!! It was such an honor to be a part of your day and to document all the love surrounding you two from all over the world!
