Oh you guys… what a great way to start out 2015 season!!! Kevin contacted us a few weeks back about capturing him proposing to his girlfriend, Ashley, and I’m so happy we were available!! Kevin went ALL OUT for this proposal!! He brought fabric for her to stand on with flower petals scattered on it and lined in candles!! And on top of that – he hired an a cappella group (the super talented, Run for Cover, from University of Chicago) to sing their song while he proposed!!
Needless to say, I got totally choked up just watching Kevin prep the site and listening to the guys practicing the song while we all waited for Ashley to arrive (in a limo Kevin hired to pick her up!), so you can only imagine how the tears were flowing when he actually proposed!! I mean… COME ON! I live for this stuff!! Do we have the best job or what?!
Anyway, this is way too much chatter from me – you just need to go see this crazy romantic Chicago proposal at the Adler Planetarium!! (Which, by the way, we had the most beautiful sunset in a long time!!! You couldn’t have ordered up a more perfect sky!!)
