We had a really gorgeous fall day for Kelly and Chris’ wedding last Saturday!! It was our first really “fall” wedding, since our first October wedding was freezing and gray outside! It was wonderful to get to shoot outdoors and take advantage of all the beautiful colors out in Glenview and Northbrook!!
Kelly and Chris designed a wedding day that was uniquely them – and we loved every minute! They decided not to have a bridal party, and instead just had their close friends hang out with them as they got ready for the day. They had a super relaxed atmosphere and focused on just enjoying the day with their loved ones! They had a wonderfully laid-back reception at Pinstripes in Northbrook, and had the tented reception area dripping in white Christmas lights – which I always love because it makes for some really pretty photos! 😉 And you know I thought it was extra fabulous that they had a bonfire outside with a s’mores station!! My kind of dessert!
Kelly & Chris ~ We had the best time with you two throughout this process and on your beautiful day! It was so wonderful to spend time with such laid-back people who were focused on the most important part of the day – marrying their best friend! Your ceremony was so moving and heartfelt, and your reception was so. much. fun!!! We were honored to get to document this chapter in your love story!
