I’m super excited to share the styled shoot from our Advanced Workshop with you guys!!
This unique and colorful wedding inspiration shoot held at Lacuna Lofts in Chicago brought together some super talented wedding professionals to bring still life oil paintings to life! Kate from Chicago Vintage Weddings came up with the concept, wanting to focus on rich tones and beautiful hues reminiscent of those you saw in many 16th century oil paintings, as well as did all the styling for the shoot, and provided the beautiful vessels, table, chairs, flatware & china. Ellen from An Urban Affair assisted to help it all go off without a hitch, while Debbie Petrielli made sure the bride’s hair and makeup were styled to perfection! (Shout out to Mari & Clay, the beautiful real-life crazy in love couple who so graciously modeled for us!!)
Erin Lindsay Design’s gorgeous hair pieces complimented the stunning Alice Padrul wedding gowns that the bride wore, and the stationary suite by Jenn at Ribbons and Bluebirds with calligraphy from Meant To Be Calligraphy tied in the rich tones and brought an added elegance to the shoot. Last, but definitely not least, the absolutely gorgeous florals from Beth at Larkspur really brought the still life oil painting feeling to life with her mix of parrot tulips, ranunculus, poppies, spray roses and more!
