James and I just celebrated a perfectly relaxing Easter weekend with our family up in Wisconsin. With three of my four siblings living across the country, Easter has gotten progressively smaller year after year. The kiddos were around for most of the day Saturday, but other than that – the weekend consisted of James and I relaxing with my parents… eating well, sipping on drinks, taking long walks (well, me and my mom, anyway), and just hanging out. We ended up staying a night longer than planned, so we could enjoy the full day on Easter without having to rush back to Chicago in the midst of traffic (and probably lots of motorcycle – which Chloe would HATE).
Here’s a little glimpse at our wonderful weekend! Now we’re recharged and ready to take on the busy month ahead when we get back to Chicago later today! 🙂
Her reaction immediately after beating me in Crossfire. 🙂
Sibling love. haha
Easter bunnies will forever creep me out.
And then youngest nephew insisted he take some photos… and so I let him, back-button focus and all! And he did it! The next three are his photos. 🙂 So proud.
It took him quite a while to get me in focus… and so I waited, and waited, and tried not to move. haha
His last shot… success!
These kids dyed eggs faster than I could even say Easter egg!! Seriously, I got to dye 3 eggs, and that’s because I hid two while I was dyeing my first one. haha!
Easter morning! Back off my candy, pup!
My mom makes the BEST food. For real.
Then I realized we hadn’t taken a single photo together and I forced James into a self-timer selfie in our gym clothes… 🙂
I hope all of you had an equally wonderful weekend!! xoxo
