I think I may have squealed my way through this ENTIRE session, and when you see below… I think you’ll understand why!!! I honestly have never seen a sunset or light like this… at least not in a while!!! It seemed like winter had finally started to ease away and spring was on its way into Madison, just in time for Beth and Brett’s maternity session at Olin Park.
I know most people think photos at this time of year aren’t that great because everything is dead and dull – but there is something about the neutral tones of tree branches and old grass that lends itself SO WELL to photos, especially at sunset. The light that bounces around isn’t tainted green by the grass or leaves… it is all just warm and perfect!!!
I had absolutely the best time shooting this session during a mini break from watching the kids while we were up in Madison recently!! Beth and Brett ROCKED IT. Just… wow. But enough yammering from me – go look at these two beautiful, crazy-in-love people as they prepare to welcome their first little one to their family!

Happy Friday, all!! We are off to shoot a wedding tomorrow to *officially* kick off our season – and I am SO excited!! Here’s hoping the 75 degree forecast holds out!! Yay!!
