This was the ultimate wedding proposal, because not only was the proposal itself a surprise (obviously)… but this soon to be groom is currently living abroad and surprised his girlfriend by flying into Chicago and walking out of the Water Tower to greet her when she thought she was meeting a friend!!
She was sooo happy to see him that it immediately put me in tears! And then he got down on one knee in front of a crowd of cheering onlookers and proposed – and then I really lost it!
It was such a beautiful moment and James and I were so honored to document it!
I just loved all the onlookers’ excitement – I couldn’t help but snap a photo of them!
I just love shooting proposals in Chicago!!!
