It is baby-palooza in my life right now and it makes me so happy!! Our dear friends Missy and Dave found out they were expecting their first baby this winter and I was over-the-moon happy for them! We just know these two are going to be THE BEST parents and I cannot wait to witness it. Missy and I have been friends since freshmen year of high school and I really can’t believe all these years that have managed to pile up between now and then! (How old are we?!) I have many embarrassing photos I could share of the two of us from our days together, but instead I’ll focus on the beautiful moments happening right now. 🙂
I was overjoyed when I found out Missy’s baby’s shower was on the one weekend in all of May, June, & July that we didn’t have a wedding – so I was actually able to attend! As wedding photographers we get used to saying “no” to nearly every invitation we get for weekend events in the summer… so saying YES to this one was super exciting!! While I was there I managed to get some photos of these two lovebirds before the baby shower – and regardless of the summer heat and midday sun – these two looked so beautiful!

You know their adorable pup, Denny, was all – “Hey guys! What’s going on?! Can I get in on this mom?!” haha (Side note – I’ve always been obsessed with Missy’s eyes! Aren’t they stunning?! I’m a little jealous.)
