I’m over the moon excited to share this beautiful and unique DIY wedding with you guys! Dottie and Adam are just the sweetest, HAPPIEST people, and were an absolute joy to work with through this entire process!! Dottie is a super talented graphic designer, so I knew there wouldn’t be one detail overlooked for their wedding day – and I was right! Everything about this wedding just screamed Dottie & Adam – from the delicious chili and soup buffet (perfect for a chilly December day), to the Portillo’s chocolate cake (oh.my.word), to the handmade ornaments that doubled as centerpieces and favors, to the Wauwatosa Curling Club venue! (Unfortunately they had some issues with the ice so they weren’t able to do the curling reception they had planned for, but it was amazing none-the-less!) This low-key afternoon wedding was just the perfect amount of cozy for a chilly winter day.
Dottie & Adam – Thank you for welcoming me into your wedding day with open arms and for trusting me so whole heartedly to capture your beautiful day! You’ve been so sweet through this entire process and I am so thankful for you both! I know your life will be full of so many smiles and so much joy – because you two just radiate pure happiness! Here’s to many more years of it! xoxo! ~Christy
Stunning Dottie!
Time for the First Look! Love it!
These two were just BEAMING from the moment they saw each other!
I loved this snap of them giggling between shots!
This moment just showed me how sweet Dottie is! These women approached us with this dog and asked if they could take a photo of the dog with Dottie because they were trying to get her adopted! Dottie agreed, and my heart melted. Sweet pup!
Time to get married!
Then we headed off to the lunch reception, and I swooned over all the beautiful DIY details!
Congrats again you two!!!
Have a great weekend everybody! I’ll be busy attempting to tackle some more of my personal to-do list, and running around from meet-up to meet-up with potential clients – ’tis the season to get engaged! See you all Monday!
