I’m so excited to share Amy & Eric’s gorgeous Chicago Botanic Garden Wedding! I hadn’t had a chance to meet these two when they first booked me, so they invited me over to their place in Chicago just a week before the wedding for some wine, snacks, and wedding talk! It was so wonderful to get to know them before their big day, and it made me even more stoked to spend their wedding with them! It is so clear how crazy about each other these two are, and how much they believe in one another. Eric is always keeping Amy laughing, and they are just so perfect together!
It was supposed to rain the weekend of their wedding, but magically it held off and we had an absolutely perfect day at the Chicago Botanic Garden for their outdoor wedding! There were so many moving moments throughout the day…. Amy’s grandma seeing her for the first time in her dress… Eric and Amy having a quiet moment after signing the Ketubah… both fathers’ speeches at the reception, bringing everybody to tears… and the pure joy of the party once the dancing got started! (Seriously, make sure to make it all the way to the bottom of the post to see those dancing pics!)
Amy & Eric – Thank you sooo much for having me document your absolutely gorgeous wedding day! You two were so amazing to work with! You, your families, and friends were so sweet, so welcoming, and so generous! I cannot thank you all enough! I wish you guys nothing but the best, and I’m certain your life will be full of lots of love, laughter, and adventures!
