I am beyond excited to share Hanni and Andrew’s beautiful day with you guys!! My experience with Hanni and Andrew was a quick one, and to be honest, I’m pretty bummed it has already come and gone! We first met just two months before their wedding… they booked me… we shot their engagement session a couple weeks later… and their wedding a month after that! It was the quickest span of full wedding coverage I’ve ever had, but it had its perks because I felt like I got to know Hanni & Andrew really well right from the start and then we just kept the ball rolling from there, seeing each other every few weeks!
In my time with these two I quickly learned that they balance each other out perfectly. Andrew is honest in a way that not many people are anymore. He tells you what is going through his mind, but never in a hurtful or harsh way – it is always just matter-of-fact Andrew… and whatever he has to say is bound to make those around him smile and laugh… especially Hanni. And contrary to what these two told me in their meet-up (“We aren’t a cuddly or touchy and sweet together, or anything like that”), from what I saw in my time with them – they totally fibbed to me, because I think they are one of the sweetest and loving couples I’ve seen! Their genuine love for each other is so obvious to everyone around them. You can see it in the way Andrew fixes Hanni’s hair, and exclaims to her, “You look beautiful!” – almost as if he can’t keep the thought to himself any longer and just has to say it out loud – right now – or he might burst. You can see it in in the way Hanni looks at Andrew… how she squeezes his hand and leans on him. They have a quiet, private, sweetness to their love that you don’t often see…. and it was absolutely beautiful to witness throughout their wedding day.
Hanni and Andrew – James and I can’t thank you enough for allowing us to document your most precious memories and private moments. It means so much that you trusted us to capture your day even though we had never photographed an Orthodox Jewish wedding before, and regardless of the fact that I’m a diehard Packers fan! 😉 haha. I hope these photos are everything you hoped for, and that they bring you back to that beautiful August day, and all the pure joy and love that surrounded you both! xoxo!

This was one serious dance party! They danced between every course during dinner and beyond! So fun!
This is the part where Andrew told everybody about the first time he saw Hanni, and how he knew he was going to marry her someday. I may or may not have lost it at that point… So. Sweet.
