I always get ridiculously excited when I’m contacted by an adult family for a portrait session. I love getting to photograph all the different combinations of family members and love seeing how families interact with each other. The Thomas family actually reminded me a LOT of my own family, so clearly – I loved working with them! They don’t all get together as often as they would like because of distance – so when they do they are excited to be hanging out – which resulted in lots of laughs! I had such a great time with them wandering around Millennium Park and The Art Institute grounds taking photos!
