I just realized that every February since James and I got married I’ve taken a trip somewhere. The first year James and I spent Valentine’s Day in Puerto Vallarta for our belated honeymoon (which was AMAZING). The next February I shot my first destination wedding in Zihuatanejo (which was clearly also AMAZING). And this February I’m headed to Las Vegas for WPPI (YAY!)! Sadly though, the first of those trips was the only one that James and I went on together.
I think it’s high time we have another romantic, tropical getaway – don’t you?? But since that’s not in the cards for the near future, I’ll just have to reminisce about our first Valentine’s Day as a married couple instead. Because, seriously – drinking bloody mary’s and beer, overlooking a gorgeous sunset on the ocean is not a bad way to spend the day. 🙂 So let’s pretend we’re still there for a minute, shall we?
(Also, I’m aware some of you have seen our honeymoon pictures many times before – but I can’t help myself! FYI – These are just a few of the ‘real’ camera pics. Most of our adventures in Puerto Vallarta were documented on our little snappy happy at the time…)

I hope all of you have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!! Whoever you may be spending it with – your friends, your siblings, your kiddos, your spouse/fiance/boyfriend/girlfriend/best friend… whoever!! Tell them you love them and have a fabulous day! 🙂 James and I will be going out to dinner for the first time in a loooooong time. I’m totally looking forward to a date night! 🙂 It may not be Puerto Vallarta – but as long as I’m with J, I’m A-OK. 🙂
