I felt so blessed to get to spend Ellie and Nick’s wedding day with them this past November! It was a beautiful and mild day for November (not exactly balmy, but at least it wasn’t freezing), and since Ellie & Nick booked unlimited coverage – I had lots of time to get to know them and hang out with their family and friends while I documented their day as it unfolded.
Ellie and Nick are total sweethearts and their love for each other is so apparent to anybody around. I think I cried more at this ceremony than any other ceremony I’ve photographed. I’m not sure what it was – but I just couldn’t help it! These two kept whispering sweet things to each other, and grinning from ear to ear. You could just see how happy they were to be there and how sure they were of their decision to spend the rest of their lives side by side.
James and I had so much fun hanging out with their friends & family. There was SO much laughter, joy, and happy tears (as you will see). And we felt so honored to document the beginning of this beautiful love story!!
It was Ellie’s idea to do a pretend sneak peek since they didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony. They had everybody in the room in tears during this moment! So sweet…
