This is (obviously) part 2 of a 2-part post… so if you haven’t already seen the first part of the wedding – go do that now!
We left off yesterday at the tail end of the preparation photos with Catie looking completely stunning in her ‘real’ dress – ready to head to the ceremony and knock Nick’s socks off! 🙂
I love the shot of Nick’s reaction that James caught from the balcony, alongside my view of Catie looking totally giddy! 🙂
This is the part where the officiant said, “Who gives this woman to this man?” And Catie’s dad replied with, “Catie gives herself freely to Nick, with her mother’s and my blessing!” (And then I thought… why didn’t I think of that for my own wedding?! And I immediately fell a little more in love with Catie for that right there…) 🙂
Catie happens to be a theatre girl (of my own heart), which means she has lots of talented friends in the same field… and goodness was this ceremony amazing… the singing, the readings – all of it gave me goosebumps! *sigh*
Have you fallen in love with Oak Hill Farm yet? I couldn’t get over this venue!!! A chapel, an old school house, a carriage, an awesome old car, horses, barns… and more (that I can’t think of right now)!!
I took this photo (below) and then reviewed the screen and said, “Did you two make weird faces in that pic?!” Their reply, “We sure did!!” ha ha… too cute. 🙂
So. Sweet.
Such an absolutely beautiful, emotional, amazing day that I feel so blessed to have been a part of!
