Oh goodness, did I love this session – and this couple! We got so caught up in taking pictures all over downtown Chicago that we totally lost track of what time it was. We hit up anywhere from the Adler Planetarium, to The Field Museum, to Buckingham Fountain, and everywhere in between!
These two share my love for wine, ice cream, and all things peanut butter + chocolate. I know… right?! How could you not love them?! The only difficult thing about shooting an in-town engagement session for an out-of-town wedding is that I wish I was shooting their wedding too! Instead, I’ll have to just accept that I’ll have to see these two by hanging out over a glass (or bottle) of wine and a home-cooked meal. (Because I feel like we should cook dinner together. Although I’m afraid Maris will seriously show me up in the kitchen… because she makes meals I can’t even pronounce and in some cases have never even heard of – she’s that good!)
