I had the pleasure of photographing this lovely couple (who is celebrating their 50th year of marriage together… I know. Wow.) with their children and grandson today in the middle of Chicago’s first snow storm of the winter.
It was so inspiring to see two people after many years together still so in love. (Seriously… look at the photos.) As you all know, I normally document the starting point of couples’ journeys… so it was nice for me to get to see the other end of things for a change. My hope for the couples I’ve been lucky enough to photograph on their wedding day – is that they all still look at each other like these two do 50 years down the road…
