I feel like I’ve been emailing Alecia for years now, so I thought I’d go back and look it up – but apparently it has only been 8 months?! Maybe because I just hit it off with her immediately we felt like old friends right off the bat – I think that must be it! 🙂 Anyway – because of that instant connection, I’ve been looking forward to this session for a while now – and after a couple of reschedules we finally had a seriously perfect night in Chicago for Alecia & Derrick’s engagement session!! We started at Olive Park (one of my favorite spots in the city!) and ended the session at another one of my faves: the river walk at dusk!! The sunset fading, the city lights coming up — it is all soooo gorgeous I can’t get enough of it!!
These two are so ridiculously gorgeous and photogenic that I had trouble narrowing this down!! Ah! Here are some of my faves!!
I mean… seriously, right?! How gorgeous are they?! XOXO (And I didn’t want to make this whole post about this – but seriously – they are truly the kindest and sweetest couple because they stayed after our session (which already ran pretty late) and changed a flat tire on my car for me (in 90 degree heat and humidity) so I could get home safely!! The. Best.
