Mary and Andrew had a lovely Chicago brunch wedding on a warm, overcast June day. These two are such sweet people, so it’s no surprise that all of their friends and family were just as kind as they are!
The Ivy Room made for the perfect brunch wedding venue. The gorgeous ivy-filled courtyard was the perfect space for Mary and Andrew’s wedding ceremony. It was so nice to enjoy the Chicago summer weather! Between the ceremony and the reception, the guests mingled in the courtyard and enjoyed the live bagpipe music. Then, guests headed inside for the brunch wedding reception.
Brunch weddings are exciting for several reasons! It was so nice to have the city to ourselves for morning portraits. Plus, who doesn’t love brunch food and drinks?! Not to mention, a brunch wedding makes it much easier to find available Chicago wedding venues! I love that Mary and Andrew were able to enjoy a private boat ride down the Chicago River before heading out for dinner at one of Chicago’s fabulous restaurants that evening. Truly, bring on all the Chicago brunch weddings!
