I can’t believe this guy is 40 today! Is that even possible?! I feel like we just met, he was just 28 years old, and he kept telling me how this was “Phase II” of his life… (I think we’re at least on to Phase IV by now! LOL) 🙂
James – I really can’t wrap my brain around all that has happened in our lives since we crossed paths, but I know that none of it would have come to be if it weren’t for you.

Beyond all you are to me – I’m SO thankful you are even more to our boys. I can’t wait to see the kind of men they grow up to be because they had you to show them what it means to be a man. To be open, vulnerable, loyal, and trustworthy. To have a backbone, to work hard but to love even harder, and to never take life (or yourself) too seriously.
We are so blessed to have you. Here’s to another 40 years (at least)!!!
