I’m not sure where to even begin with Emily and Jack except that they are truly two of the kindest and sweetest people we’ve ever had the honor of photographing! Their love doesn’t scream from the mountaintops, but instead is shown in the quiet everyday moments that matter most when it comes to spending your life with someone… like the way Jack is always reaching for Emily – his hand on her lower back, holding her hand, or guiding her through a crowded room. Or the way Emily looks at Jack like he is her favorite thing on the planet, always with a smile and a sparkle in her eye. It was really so beautiful observing and documenting these two – because the love they share is not one you see everyday and it truly is the kind that lasts a lifetime. The respect, love and kindness they show to each other (and everyone around them) is inspiring to witness, and I hope you can see it shine through in the images below.
On top of these two being just the best – were their amazing families and friends surrounding them all weekend! I had the joy of photographing the rehearsal dinner at Brique Chicago as well, so I got to spend some extra time with everyone that weekend and it was so much fun to see this wonderful group of people lift up Emily and Jack in love and celebration!!
And last but not least, I have to mention the amazing team of vendors that pulled this phenomenal day off – led by the always fabulous Kelly at Clementine Custom Events! From the stunning florals by Natalie at HMR, to the incredibly talented Becca Kaufman Orchestra, to the custom menu cards by Magnificent Milestones – designed to match china from the Festive Frog that was to be used later in the meal… not a detail was overlooked! It really was all so stunning and you must check the vendor list at the bottom of this post to show them each some love! Oh and if all future brides could just get ready at the Woman’s Athletic Club of Chicago, that’d be wonderful! 😉 (Seriously though – wow did that space make for some gorgeous bridal portraits!!)
