What an absolutely perfect way to officially kick off our 2016 wedding season after being on maternity/paternity leave!! Oh my gosh – Kelly and Dave’s wedding was the perfect combination of heartfelt and funny… stylish and stunning, yet laid-back and oh so much fun!! (I’m telling you the dance party was like no other!!) We had the absolute best day with these two and their crew of friends surrounding them – I can’t even begin to tell you. I started to lose track of the amount of times I cried at this wedding… Kelly reading a card to her dad after their dad/daughter first look… Kelly & Dave’s first look – watching Dave get choked up – oh my gosh… Their truly beautiful ceremony that had everyone laughing and crying… and I might have found myself choking back tears when I saw Dave walk around the venue before anyone else had arrived to thank all the staff for coming to work that night and for taking care of them on their wedding day. I mean, seriously. He asked people their names, introduced himself, and thanked them. Who does that?! I’ll tell you what – not a lot of people. That said so much about the kind of people Kelly and Dave are – which we already knew from working with them… but they just confirmed it for me again and again all day long in the way their carried themselves and treated everyone around them.
All this is without even mentioning how incredibly stylish these two are! Their taste is impeccable and I absolutely had the best time shooting all the beautiful modern white details with a touch of sparkle!! I can’t do it justice in my description, so you should probably just go look for yourself! 😉
Kelly & Dave ~ Thank you so very much for having us along to document your absolutely stunning and emotional wedding day! You reminded us how blessed we are to get to hang out with awesome people all day, take pictures of beautiful things and even more beautiful moments, and to call this our job somehow!! You two are truly beautiful people inside and out and we can’t thank you enough for allowing us the honor of documenting the start of this next chapter in your love story.
