J + B ~ Adler Planetarium Wedding ~ Chicago New Year’s Eve Wedding Photography

I have been sooo incredibly excited about this wedding since I first met J and her mom last winter, and even more so when I finally got to see J and B together at their engagement session last spring!! These two have hearts of gold and I’m so grateful that they were the couple who we got to close out this beautiful year with!! Also, I can’t say thank you enough to these two for being so understanding as we navigated the waters of finding out we were pregnant with twins and trying to figure out what that might mean at 28 weeks pregnant on NYE for their wedding! They were SO understanding and wonderful, and thankfully I had a healthy pregnancy and was still able to shoot their wedding as planned (with some help from the fabulous, Amanda, who was our assistant/3rd photographer for the day)!

The day was absolutely stunning, as I knew it would be – and all went off without a hitch thanks the amazing team at Five Grain Events!! James and I had the best time with these two and their loved ones through the entire day! They braved the cold and were so easy going through it all… rolling with everything and having the best time doing it! But enough chatter from me – you guys probably just want to get to the photos already!!

J + B ~ Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being such amazing human beings!! We absolutely loved working with you two and cannot thank you enough for your understanding and support through all the various things that happened between when you booked and your big day. We are SO grateful you were so wonderful through it all, and even more grateful that we were able to be a part of everything still!! It was truly such an honor to document your day and we left that night wanting to befriend all your loved ones too!! You have such an amazing group of people surrounding you – so down-to-earth and with hearts of gold… which should be no surprise, given you two are the same as well!!
