I was starting to worry these two weren’t going to make it to Chicago for the big moment Alex had been planning for so long thanks to some CRAZY winter storms we were having in the area that resulted in O’Hare canceling ALL flights! Alex & Andrea had two flights canceled on them, and had to drive all over the south to finally make it to an airport they could fly out of! So after rescheduling the big moment twice – I was so happy to hear from Alex that they were finally on their way and he was ready to make it official!! Given all the crazy circumstances leading up to the big moment – it’s natural that Andrea had NO CLUE what was coming… which I think made it even more exciting!!
It was a chilly night in Chicago, especially for these two southerners, but it was the perfect proposal and most importantly – Andrea said YES! Here is a look at their romantic downtown Chicago proposal!!
