Hey friends!! I got my 4th Stitch Fix in the mail yesterday and I must say – it was significantly better than last month’s! Yay! I love that you can give them feedback after each month and get better results the longer you use the service.
Anyway, I need your help!! Tell me what you love, and what you think I should send back! I have you all to thank (along with Stitch Fix, obviously) for my more well-rounded wardrobe lately! 😉
Piece #1: Kut From The Kloth Jonathon Corduroy Grey Skinny Pant
First Impression: I was super excited to find some grey cords in this month’s shipment and couldn’t wait to try them on!
Final Thoughts: These are SUPER comfy, and stretchy – and so great for the fall season! My only worry is that they are a bit big in the waist/hips. (I realize they don’t look that way in the photo, but I can easily fit an entire fist between the waistband and my waist.) Because they are stretchy I worry a little that they may be the kind of pants you buy thinking they fit perfectly and then they stretch waaaay out once you’ve started to wear them in. Thoughts?!
Piece #2: Fun2Fun Chandra Plaid Sleeveless Blouse
First Impression: I didn’t know what to think, to be honest. I didn’t really have any feelings either way. The pattern was interesting and I was curious to see how it would fit.
Final Thoughts: I actually think it fits really well, and could be cute? It is very “fall” because of the colors and pattern, but obviously would need to be worn under a cardigan or blazer given the cool weather. I don’t know! What do you think? I’m kind of on the fence with this, which makes me think I should send it back, because I’m afraid I wouldn’t wear it enough to get my money’s worth!
Piece #3: Tart Kaylie Solid French Terry Blazer
First Impression: I was happy to see a cute cover-up in this shipment, but didn’t love the fabric of this blazer. It is basically sweatshirt material, so I was a little worried how it would fit. (And it has shoulder pads!?!)
Final Thoughts: I don’t know! I just don’t really love it… I guess? The fabric and shoulder pad combo… just… ehhhh….? I normally would be all about a blazer, but didn’t love how unstructured this is…
Piece #4: Andrew Marc Neve Fit and Flare Tweed V-Neck Dress
First Impression: Oooo! Something I could possibly wear to shoot weddings! And I would never normally buy something with the leather accents, but this might be fun!
Final Impression: This IS fun! I actually (surprisingly) really liked this dress. It fit pretty much perfectly, and is really great for work wear. I could also wear it elsewhere – maybe holiday parties, or somewhere fun since it isn’t just a plain black work dress (like most of my work dresses lately). I’m used to wearing more fitted sheath dresses on the bottom, but the A-line might be nice to have more room to move on wedding days. Thoughts?
Piece #5: Leota Darrah Chain Print Belted 3/4 Sleeve Faux Wrap Dress
First Impression: Man, they looove to send me wrap dresses! haha. Seriously though.
Final Thoughts: It fits like a glove and is super comfy, but I’m just not sure about this color/pattern?! (I’m starting to realize I’m not a huge pattern person, now that I think about it. My wardrobe is basically solids and stripes. haha)
So there it is!! Let me know what you think, friends!!! 🙂
