Valerie + Lukas ~ Ravenswood Event Center Wedding ~ Chicago Loft Wedding Photography

I’m pretty sure I was telling James how excited I was for Val and Lukas’ wedding nonstop for the entire week leading up to it! haha! These two are the kind of people who just make you feel good about life. Their smiles are contagious and their love is palpable. They are both just such kind-hearted, giving, and genuine people – that make you better for having known them. (The kind that think to give their photographers a gift on THEIR WEDDING DAY when they have a million other things to worry about! Yeah, that kind.) So obviously, it comes as no surprise that we were looking forward to spending their wedding day with them! Top that off with the fact that they are crazy-in-love, drop dead gorgeous, and have style to boot – and it makes for a perfect day!!

Also, I mentioned this to Val, but I’m not sure people fully understand how vital this is…. Ever since these two booked us, Val has emphasized how much she loves our photos and our vision, and trusts us to do our job well. Because of that trust in us, she defaulted to me for many wedding and photo-related questions, which I appreciated so much! I cannot even explain how freeing that is as a photographer to have clients who trust your opinion and experience! And I can tell you without a doubt – that James & I produce our best work when we know our clients trust us 100% to find the best light, and shoot from our hearts (and when they’re as excited about taking pictures as we are)!

Val & Lukas ~ We really cannot thank you enough for having us be a part of your truly beautiful wedding day. We feel like your families are now our families and your friends our friends! You surround yourselves with amazing people and we had the best time getting to know everybody throughout your day and the time leading up to it! We are so blessed that you two came into our lives and reminded us once again why we love doing what we do SO much – because of people like you!!
