When Shannon contacted me to do a newborn session for her soon-to-be arriving twins this past winter I was SO excited… TWINS! I had never photographed twins before so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I did know that I completely love doing newborn sessions and always leave them with my heart a big ball of mush from all the cuteness. So I thought twins would just mean double the cuteness… and boy was I right.
Little Kelsey and Drew came in March, much earlier than everybody expected – so they were actually 2-months old when we did this session, but as you can see – they were just newborn sized at the time. (And such cutie patooties! Ah!) I arrived to find a room full of amazing old props that Shannon had collected specifically for the session (Yay Shannon!) – so we played around with lots of different things, and ended the sessions with the little ones in a suitcase! A suitcase! I can’t even handle those pictures still. So adorable.
Go! See for yourself!
I love how Drew is munching on Kelsey’s shoulder… and she’s all like, “What the heck?! Somebody get me out of here!” Ha! So cute.
When we put the babies in the suitcase the animals immediately had to come check out what the heck was going on – too funny!
Adorable! 🙂
