Oh you guys… where do I start with this wedding?! When Christine first contacted me about shooting her late April wedding and told me they planned to hold the ceremony in her dad’s airplane hangar – I knew I needed to be there for their day!! I absolutely love unique weddings tailored to the couple – and with Christine growing up around planes, and her fiance, Stacie, flying helicopters for the Army – getting married in an airplane hangar seemed like an obvious choice for them!
Add in all the handmade details by Christine – and it made for a beautiful day (regardless of the 35 degree temperatures)! Christine and Stacie were such a joy to work with – and were complete troopers – willing to suck it up and step outside for portraits even though it was freezing!
James and I had such a great time kicking off the start of our 2012 wedding season with these two and their families and friends! (Oh, and did I mention they had just about the cutest little kiddos in a wedding you could ever think of?! So many little girls in adorable dresses dancing up a storm! I loved it!)
Enjoy!
Christine and her dad! So sweet. 🙂
All the kids were just too cute!
I ran in to grab my coat before the bride & groom portraits, and came back to find these two having a quiet moment… love it! 🙂
Can all weddings involve airplanes, please?!
Gorgeous Christine!
They threw a little surprise in the father/daughter dance! haha! 🙂
Christine & Stacie – Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for letting us be a part of your big day!!! We loved every minute of it – and we wish you guys nothing but love and laughter ahead! 🙂 xoxo!
